The Posner Lab at the HUMANISE core facility can be entered from room B3.01 on campus Etterbeek (Pleinlaan 2, 1050 Brussels). The lab provides a cutting-edge environment for investigation of behavioral and neural mechanisms underlying psychological processes. Advanced equipment is available to measure and modulate these processes.
The Posner Lab offers specialized support for the design, organization and planning of behavioral and neuropsychological experiments, as well as the analysis and interpretation of obtained data.

Equipment:
- Millisecond accurate timing of behavioral responses in separate cubicles with PC to investigating mental capacities related to cognitive, social, or affective processes (using Eprime E-Studio programming and other tools)
- Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS - Soterix) to modulate brain activity (more info), including High Defintion tDCS (more info), and 2 mini CTs for tES for remote supervised delivery of tDCS, tACS, tRNS, tPCS or tODCS (more info)
- Electroencephalogram (EEG - Biosemi) for measuring activity in the brain and additional peripheral measures (more info)
- EEG Manual: BioSemi system 3 in Posner lab
- EEG Manual: General instructions (based on prior BioSemi system 2) - Nexus for for measuring physiological signals simultaneously: 4 channels of brain activity or muscle activity (ExG/EEG/EMG) and 4 channels for heart rate, relative blood flow, skin conductance, respiration, temperature, and more (available upon request)
- NeXus-10 Mark II Version 1.02 (3 sets); Trigger Interface; High Precision Sensor for finger; whole set (available upon request). - Smart Voice Key (Cedrus) for experiments requiring a vocal response (available upon request).

Posner Lab Facilities
Access to the lab: if you do not yet have access to the lab, email Humanise@vub.be one week in advance to charge your VUB transponder for access to B3.01 and B3.13, or any other room described in the manual that you need. Alternatively, take a look at the front door of the Posner lab for a notice listing the rooms where other people can help you out with temporal access.
